Root & Bloom
The lotus grows from dark and muddy waters to rise up to the surface and bloom into splendour.
We will explore how physical postures, breath work, meditation, affirmation, intention setting, and sharing can encourage our ability to grow despite the mud and the dark times.

Offered as an eight week series consisting of weekly ninety minute classes or as a two and half hour workshop.
Into the Darkness
“The quickest way for anyone to reach the sun and the light of day is not to run west, chasing after the setting sun, but to head east, plunging into the darkness, until one comes to sunrise” (Gerald L. Sittser).

A journey through meditation and yin yoga, a form of yoga that encourages observation of emotions, sensations, and thoughts with long holds in physical postures, to find comfort within your darkness and discomfort, instead of fleeing from these moments.

Offered as a two and half hour workshop.
Healing Centred Engagement Yoga
Yoga, as the incorporation of physical postures, movement, breath work, and meditation, can be a way to experience the present moment and the flow of time in an embodied experience.
We will develop the ability to use and use yoga as a tool for self-regulation, stress management and personal empowerment. We will explore how the movement of physical energy within the body can promote connection with internal healing within the perspective of trauma-informed practice.
Offered as individual classes, weekly classes, an eight week series consisting of weekly ninety minute classes, and as a two and half hour workshop.
Rooted
There are moments in life that overwhelm us and leave us feeling helpless, hopeless, and confused. This is trauma and this is a collective experience.

Through the use of yin yoga postures, physical movement, breath work, and intention setting and affirmation, we will work to release negative energy from the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual body.
Offered as individual classes, as weekly classes, or as an eight week series consisting of weekly ninety minute classes.
Beneath Still Waters
Many of us have more going on internally than what is immediately apparent with what we present to the exterior world, just like a duck, sitting calmly on the surface, but paddling with great speed and ferocity under the surface.

We will explore how holding physical postures and engaging yang energy and then introducing movement and engaging yin energy creates connection and balance within the breath, body, and the present moment.

Offered as an eight week series consisting of weekly ninety minute classes or as a two and half hour workshop.
